Users upload a product photo, pick a template or style, and get professional, fully editable shots — each kept on-brand through Pomelli's Business DNA. Beyond templates, users can generate new shots from text prompts and reference images for full creative control.

As the Lead Interaction Designer on Photoshoot, I took the feature from zero to one alongside engineering and product. I defined how users art-direct AI-generated imagery, balancing simple template-driven creation with deeper prompt-based control and refinement, and set interaction patterns the team built on after I left. I also designed Pomelli's Instagram and Google Ads integrations — both firsts for Google Labs — closing the loop from creation to campaign. Since Photoshoot launched in February 2026 across five markets, users have generated over a million product photos.
